PrafulRao.com - Images from the past - A temple in Japan? Circa1947 - With this image, as with most others in the gallery, I am not sure when and where they were taken. What I am sure of is that all of them are over 70yrs old and were taken by my father when he served as a doctor in Royal Indian Army Medical Corps (RIAMC) during World War II. I recently cleaned the old negatives and restored the images to the extent possible. Many of the images were taken in Japan,soon after World War II where he was a part of the Occupation Force. Camera: Zeiss Ikon 120.
